Ricky Gervais has been away from British stages for some time, but things are about to change.

The iconic funnyman has just confirmed a string of new dates for his upcoming 2024/2025 world tour: Mortality.

The comedian/actor will be hitting some huge venues around the country, including York's Barbican, Newcastle's Utilita Arena, Manchester's Apollo, and plenty more.

This is just the first step of his tour, however. The 63-year-old star will be extending his tour in the coming months through to the end of 2025.

That adventure was filmed by Netflix and became a worldwide hit. And he's aiming for the same this time around, as well.

The upcoming Mortality tour promises to look at life, death, and everything in between, while also being filmed by the streaming giant once again.

Speaking about the show, Gervais said: "We’re all gonna die. May as well have a laugh about it. Mortality looks at the absurdities of life. And death. Bring it on.”
