How to fold clothes easily using man's simple hack

Everyone finds chores a drag, particularly those related to laundry.

The worst part? Putting washed clothes on a drying rack and then the laborious task of neatly folding them away. The endless tucking and pairing socks in drawers prove to be a time-consuming endeavour that we all wish we could avoid.

But alas, it's part of life, right? However, there's now a life hack doing the rounds that may just put the fun back into folding your shirts (or so we'd like to think)...

Over on X, formerly known as Twitter, the account Today Years Old left users utterly gobsmacked with a video unveiling this nifty trick.

In a caption that simply reads: "Bookmarked," the release amassed a staggering 305,800 views and 1,800 likes since its early month debut.

The featured video shows a person cleverly folding parts of their sweater, rolling the bottom up and deftly bringing the sleeves together.

Then the clip further showcases techniques for jeans and even a bulky jacket. These folding methods promise not only to maximise space but to keep annoying creases at bay.

The tip comes as a blessing for those constantly scouring for ways to make the most out of limited room.

So, if by the end of the two-minute tutorial you haven't mastered folding your own attire, it might well be worth giving it another glance. One person exclaimed: "Dude is a magician."

Another relieved viewer remarked: "My mess in the room will be cleared now. Thank you." Meanwhile, a third noted: "Good informative. It will be useful when you're flying."

One individual confessed: "Excellent, I'm a huge fan of ironing my clothes, folding them and then having to iron them again before wearing due to there being more creases than before I ironed them the first bloody time."

Others flagged that such methods may be more about consuming time. A commentator noted: "If people have the time in their lives to do this, then they must be getting up too early in the morning."

An additional voice added: "After doing this, your clothes will be well creased up, much better to hang clothes. A lot less creases."
