The iPhone 16 is finally on sale and we’ve been comparing the best prices on offer from UK retailers. If you’re thinking of buying Apple’s latest smartphone there are many deals out there, but this pre-order deal from Mobiles.co.uk is one of the best we’ve seen so far.

You can get the iPhone 16 with 128GB storage for £37.99 per month on a 24 month contract. This gets you unlimited 5G mobile data plus unlimited calls and texts to UK numbers. You also have to pay £99 upfront to get the handset.

We reckon this is solid value for money on a brand new iPhone 16 - particularly as you get completely unlimited data, calls and texts on the iD Mobile network. This network is owned by high street retailer Currys, who also owns Mobiles.co.uk. It piggybacks on the Vodafone network in the UK, but you can check how good the coverage is in your area here.

Over the course of 24 months and with the upfront payment, this iPhone 16 deal costs £1,010.76. When you take away the cost of the £799 iPhone you’re getting, it works out to £211.76 - divide that by 24 months, and you get your total cost per month for unlimited data, calls and texts, which is just £8.23. That’s very good value for an unlimited plan.

One thing to note is that many UK phone contracts in the UK, including the ones mentioned in this article, are subject to annual price rises, so the overall amount you pay will be higher than advertised, but we won’t know by how much.
