A Sussex source has reportedly shed light on the "real" reason why Prince Harry has previously deciced to spill private royal details.

Since stepping down as a senior working royal in 2020, the Duke, 39, lost the right to close protection in the UK. But he and wife, Meghan Markle, have also given rare insights into life behind palace walls in interviews and the Prince's infamous book, Spare.

As reports suggest the Duke of Sussex could be eyeing up a potential UK return, people have long suggested Harry and Meghan should drop the tell-all theme to rebuild trust with King Charles and Prince William.

However, a source from the Sussex camp told People magazine the Sussexes would change tack and stop revealing private details if their security in the UK was restored.

Friends also claimed Meghan wants Harry to “let go” of his lawsuit against the Home Office over its decision not to provide him with protection in the UK.

Prince Harry and Meghan now reside in the US with their two children, five-year-old Prince Archie and three-year-old Princess Lilibet.
