Air Fryer upgrades may convince you to ditch your current cooker for good

Not yet joined the Air Fryer revolution? The team at Ninja are hoping their latest innovations may convince you to ditch your current cooker and switch to something new. A number of updated Air Fryers have just been announced at the IFA technology show in Berlin and they all come with smart upgrades to make them more useful and less of an eye-sore when popped on your worktop.

Firstly there's an update to the popular Double Stack device which was first revealed earlier this year.

Ninja is now offering this space-saving cooker in an even more compact size which should make it ideal for smaller kitchens. This new 7.6L version - which is 25 percent smaller than the original - can still bake numerous things at once thanks to its double drawer design and dual temperature modes.

In fact, Ninja says it's possible to cook four different foods at the same time thanks to its Stacked Meal racks. Despite its slimmer design, it will still fit a whole 1.2kg roast chicken inside whilst also making those all-important crunchy potatoes.

Those happy to go supersized will also find a bigger Dual Stack XL machine which now features an in-built Digital Cooking Probe.

This monitors food temperature in real time as it cooks and sends an alert when things are perfectly roasted. That should end the worry of making the family ill after eating the weekly roast.

Finally, Ninja is about to release another Dual Stack Fryer that comes in white. This is the first time the firm has launched one of its Air Fryers in another colour other than boring black. It will be exclusively available at Currys and could be pretty popular with those who have more style-conscious kitchens.

Along with the Air Fryers, Ninja has also revealed its first coffee machines which it hopes will make it easier to create the perfect caffeine fix.

The Ninja Luxe Café guides you through every step of making a latte, from recommending the perfect grind size to precisely dosing your beans and actively adjusting temperature and pressure throughout the brewing process.

There's also a new SLUSHi Frozen Drink Maker which produces frozen drinks with a touch of button.

“Our latest innovations, such as our all-in-one coffee maker, new Power Detect vacuum line-up including the new Robot Vacuum, and the new SLUSHi frozen drinks maker address everyday challenges with consumer problem solving solutions," said Tom Brown, President of SharkNinja EMEA

"We’re excited to offer these products, which uphold Shark and Ninja’s reputation for performance, quality, and value, to our growing EMEA customer base.”

Release dates and pricing should be available soon.
