UEFA have confirmed the schedules and dates of each fixture in the newly-revamped League Phase, with a host of exciting fixtures for each of the four English clubs. Matchday one, which takes place between September 17-19, sees Liverpool begin their European campaign away to AC Milan, while Aston Villa open the competition at Young Boys. The following day sees Manchester City host Inter and Arsenal will face another Serie A opponent as they travel to Atalanta. Matchday two, to be played over two days on October 1/2, is highlighted by a blockbuster fixture that sees Arsenal hope to lay down their European credentials when they host Paris Saint-Germain. Pep Guardiola's City will travel to Slovakian side Slovan Bratislava on the same night, while Aston Villa host Bayern Munich in a Champions League return to Villa Park on the following night. Liverpool will also host Bologna. On matchday three, Arsenal host Shakhtar and Aston Villa enjoy a second consecutive home match, this time against Bologna, on October 23. The following day will see Czech side Starta Praha travel to the Etihad to take on City, while Liverpool will travel to RB Leipzig. Taking the teams up to the halfway mark of the new league phase, Liverpool take on another Bundesliga side as Xabi Alonso will return to Anfield with Bayer Leverkusen on November 5. City will travel to Portuguese giants Sporting. On the Wednesday, Arsenal take a trip to Milan to face Inter while Aston Villa head to Belgium to face Club Brugge in the evening's early kick-off. Matchday five will see the league phase take considerable shape, as Feyenoord head to Manchester to take on Erling Haaland and co, while Arsenal travel to Lisbon and face Sporting on November 26. Villa Park will be on its feet for the return of former favourite Douglas Luiz as Aston Villa host Juventus the next evening, while a grudge match between Liverpool and Real Madrid at Anfield takes place on the same night. On December 10/11 for matchday six, Liverpool kickstart proceedings with an early kick-off trip to Girona, as Aston Villa travel to RB Leipzig later in the evening. Arsenal host Monaco on the Wednesday while City face their toughest test at that point of the league phase, a tricky trip to Juventus. The penultimate matchday begins with Aston Villa travelling to Monaco on Tuesday, January 21, while Liverpool host Lille on the same day. Arsenal will then host Croatian side Dinamo on Wednesday, while City travel to the French capital as they take on Paris Saint-Germain. January 29 is the final matchday of the league phase and all 36 teams will be in action at the same time, as Aston Villa take on Celtic at home, Arsenal travel to Girona, City host Club Brugge and Liverpool are away to PSV Eindhoven.
