Sadly, none of the UK made the top 10. Meanwhile, only two of the gardens were situated in Europe, so if you're planning on visiting one of these locations you might be travelling a lot further ahead.

It is also popular on social media with 307,185 posts tagging the location on Instagram and 6,096 mentions on TikTok.

However, it was Asia who proved popular in the rankings overall with four of the top 10 destinations making the list.

Shinjuku Gyo-en came second on the list which is located in Tokyo, Japan. This particular garden had a lot more tags than compared to Longwood Gardens with 713,595 Instagram posts tagged.

The other three Asian locations were Kenroku-en, Kanazawa, Japan which came fourth on the list, Singapore Botanic Gardens, Singapore, which ranked seventh and Gardens by the Bay, Singapore which came ninth.
