If you use Freeview then you'd be wise to give your TV or set-top box a quick retune. The popular telly service has just unleashed a pretty big update which includes some new channels launching, some services changing position and one platform shutting down. Perhaps the biggest update is the switch on of GREAT! Real which promises to show back-to-back unscripted content.

Programmes coming to GREAT! Real include Heathrow: Britain’s Busiest Airport, Paddington Station 24/7, land Medics and Coast Guard Alaska.

“With an array of gripping observational series focusing on dramatic real-life events and moving human stories, brand-new free channel GREAT! Real gives TV audiences a compelling, behind-the-scenes insight into the lives of real-life heroes,” the firm berhind the channel said.

If that sounds interesting you'll find the service on channel 61 after your retune.

Along with GREAT! Real there's also Shop on TV (channel 89) and That’s TV (channel 92) which are also now live. As we mentioned earlier, this is not just about new things launching with a bunch of popular channels also switching positions.

These include ITV4+1, Together TV+1 and Pop.
