Next James Bond odds betting suspended ‘after strong interest’ in major star | Films | Entertainment

It’s been almost three years since Daniel Craig exploded out of the James Bond film franchise in No Time To Die.

Since then fans have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of the next 007 star.

For months now Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been the bookies’ favourite following reports that the 34-year-old had been offered the Hollywood role of a lifetime.

Adding to the speculation, the Kraven the Hunter star has played it very coy in interviews when asked about possibly taking up the Licence to Kill next.

And now Coral bookmakers have announced that betting on their next James Bond odds has been suspended.

Coral’s John Hill said: “We have pulled the plug on our next James Bond betting following strong interest in Aaron Taylor-Johnson. We will let the dust settle for now, but it could be that Daniel Craig's replacement has been found.”

The rising star was odds on at 1-2 and after he recently shared photos with a freshly shaved face and short back and sides haircut, we were wondering if he’s preparing for that big next Bond announcement. Watch this space folks.
