Extractor fan grease melts away within 5 minutes with 'magic' solution - no scrubbingAn extractor fan that has accumulated grease and dirt, which has turned yellow in colour, can easily be restored to look brand new. One woman had become fed up with using conventional cleaning products that made her exert too much energy on cleaning. "This was really getting on my nerves," she admitted, wanting to find a more simple and cheap solution – and then she found it. "I'm doing my happy dance as I post this video," she beamed, showcasing to viewers on YouTube the "magic" potion. "Look no further my friends," she broadcasted. "This really works!" On the video, you can see the huge difference between a dirty and clean extractor fan. Trying the "natural way", the YouTube contributor - dubbed Thoughts for Happy Minds – combined baking soda, salt, and vinegar. "Check out the difference," she said, showing off the dirty and clean extractor fan. "It's pretty amazing, right?" Using a large oven pot, she poured in boiled hot water, and a mixture of salt and baking soda. "The quantity depends on how greasy they are," she clarified. "Place the filters [extractor fans] inside, and add some vinegar." She added: "I don't think you need exact quantities, just put as much as you think will get the dirty job done. "Let it simmer in this magic grease-damaging potion for five to 10 minutes and then wash it with water." Not a necessity, but some could then "rub it a bit with some dish detergent" – once dry, the extractor fans can be placed back to their original position. "If you feel the need to repeat this process, feel free," she added. "You're welcome!" Fans praised the video, with some saying it "worked wonders" and others saying what a "great job" the magic solution has done. One commentator, Steven Meade, said: "I tried this exactly as shown and the results were fantastic. "Thank you for sharing this, and especially for making it short and right to the point... it really does work." Another said: "This is incredible! I haven’t washed my filters since I moved into my house (more than eight years ago) and they were disgusting. All three cleaned like new within 15 minutes." Source link Posted: 2024-08-14 16:27:12 |
