Man charged with attempted murder of 11-year-old girl in Leicester Square | UK news A man has been charged with the attempted murder of an 11-year-old girl who was stabbed in London’s Leicester Square on Monday. Ioan Pintaru, of no fixed address, will appear before Westminster magistrates’ court from custody on Tuesday. He is charged with attempted murder and possession of a blade. The 11-year-old’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
