Sky offers new users free TV but there's a treat for existing users too

Sky must be feeling generous because the popular UK TV provider has two eye-catching offers on, and there’s one for everyone as they cover new and existing customers. If you’re keen to take advantage of one of the best Sky deals in ages, the company is currently offering new customers one month of free Sky TV and Netflix through its Sky Stream service.

Sky Stream ditches the traditional satellite dish and joins the twenty-first century with a set-top box similar to an Amazon Fire TV Stick or Apple TV box that streams Sky over your home internet connection. Simply plug the box straight into your router and you’re ready to go (it also works over Wi-Fi).

The latest deal offers the Sky Stream box, Sky TV, and Netflix in a bundle all for £0 for the first month. After that, it’s £31 per month but that includes the £4.99 you’d otherwise pay for the Netflix subscription, as it’s a Netflix Standard with Ads plan that’s included.

You can also use Sky Stream to access any other streaming subscriptions you might have, such as Apple TV+, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and Paramount+.

If this all sounds great but you’re already a Sky customer then you can cheer yourself up with a free gift from Sky. The TV firm is giving away free digital copies of the film Mama Mia: Here We Go Again, starring Meryl Streep.

Simply make sure you're signed in with your Sky VIP account on the Sky Store on your TV, or sign in with your SkyiD at skystore.com. From there you can search the title of the film, where it will display as costing £0.00 until 14 April. It’s usually £7.99.

The film will then download onto your Sky box or account to be viewed as many times as you like. That means you can watch on Sky Q, Sky Stream, or Sky Glass, or download the film to watch on your phone or tablet using the Sky Go app.
