Four years after the tragic suicide of Love Island host Caroline Flack, Princess Beatrice has paid a touching tribute to the late star by attending a music festival organised in her memory.

On July 22, the fashion-forward Royal graced Flackstock in Berkshire, a music festival designed to raise mental health awareness and encourage others to seek help rather than suffer in silence.

Now in its third year, the annual event is held at the Englefield Estate and has so far raised an impressive £500,000 for charity. The Princess was among several attendees who stepped out this week to further raise awareness for this life-altering cause.

Sporting a stylish navy floral dress with puff sleeves, Beatrice topped off her look with a denim jacket when she attended the festival as a VIP on July 22.

Posing for snaps with friend Natalie Pinkham, the Royal beamed brightly with a drink in hand as she immersed herself in the atmosphere of the must-attend event.

Also present at the event was Caroline's mother Christine Flack, who emotionally addressed the assembled crowds about her "wonderful daughter," adding that her "her laugh was infectious."

The bereaved mum also expressed gratitude to attendees for making the event such a success, as well as commending them for coming together to celebrate Caroline's life, reports the Mirror.

The beloved presenter, celebrated for her roles in both Love Island and The X-factor, tragically died at the tender age of 40, mere months after she was accused of assaulting her boyfriend Lewis Burton in December 2019.

A coroner's investigation into her tragic death suggested that "Although (Flack's) general fluctuating (mental) state was a background and important in her death, I find the reason for her taking her life was she now knew she was being prosecuted for certainty, and she knew she would face the media, press, publicity - it would all come down upon her. To me, that's it in essence," as Sky News reported.

Notably, Princess Beatrice is not the only royal linked to Caroline, as she briefly dated Prince Harry during the height of his royal fame.

Reminiscing about their fleeting affair in his memoir Spare, Harry said: "She had been so light and funny that night we met. The definition of carefree."

Natalie Pinkham, a close confidante of the late starlet, had introduced the pair and later co-founded Flackstock in Caroline's honour.

The yearly festival, which flaunted celebrity performers like Olly Murs, Chesney Hawkes, Shaznay Lewis and Tom Walker this year, serves to raise funds for Caroline's preferred charitable organisations, such as Choose Love, Samaritans, Charlie Waller Trust and Mind.

In addition, attendees were also treated with mental health discussions, fitness runs, and comedians alongside musical performances.
