Forget the iPad - Samsung tablet gets lower price and bonus extra Apple won't match

Remember, Prime Day days are only available if you have Amazon Prime. If you don’t, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial to get access to the deals, including this one.

The Galaxy S9 FE usually costs £449 but Amazon is selling it for £379 along with Samsung’s Official Book Cover Keyboard with Trackpad - when full price this would all cost £648.99, so it’s a saving of £269.99.

For £379 you get a quality modern Android tablet with an S Pen stylus in the box - something you don’t get with any iPad. We’ve also not seen a bundle where you get an iPad with an included official keyboard, which really makes this Samsung deal stand out.

With the S Pen included, it means you can write notes in the Samsung Notes app or download any art or drawing app and scribble to your heart’s content. The tablet itself has a 10.9-inch LCD display which is more than large enough for your creations, or when you want to settle in and watch some Netflix at home or on the plane.

The included keyboard case means you can stand up the tablet without having to hold it too, and the full size keyboard means you can use this to fire off emails, Facebook posts or even get down to a bit of work. With Android 14 software you can run multiple Google accounts to use it for work and play at the same time, and it should get several more years of software support.

I reviewed the slightly larger Tab S9 FE+ earlier this year and it was a superb tablet. If anything that model was a little big, so I would easily recommend this smaller model to fit into your bag - just remember the battery will be a little smaller along with the screen, but like all recent tablets you’ll get a day of use if you’re hammering it, and more than a few if you’re just using it to stream the latest episodes of your favourite show.

The deal on the Galaxy Tab S9 FE is due to end on Wednesday or when it’s out of stock.
