Sonos speakers finally get affordable - Amazon shoppers get rare discounts

Sonos is one of the best ways to bring a multiroom experience to your home but owning these connected speakers isn't exactly cheap. Luckily, those heading to the Amazon Prime Day sale - which runs until July 17 - are being offered some very rare discounts with some Sonos devices slashed in price by over 35 percent. One of the lowest Sonos prices we've spotted is available for those buying the neat little Roam device.

This portable speaker usually costs £179 but that price has been slashed to just £119 - that's a £60 saving. The Roam features a battery inside so you can take it on the road plus it can connect to your phone via Bluetooth and using Wi-Fi. It's also water resistant and booms out sound with plenty of bass.

Next up there's a deal on another more powerful portable speaker. The Sonos Move is reduced by £150 and offers big audio around your house and in the garden.

It's made of tough stuff and can survive the British weather as well as being dropped plus there's 8 hours of battery life.

This speaker did cost £399 but that's now been cut to just £249.

If you want a speaker to boost your nightly boxset binges then the Sonos Ray soundbar is worth considering. This speaker will enhance any blockbuster movie whilst being small enough to tuck neatly under your telly.

It comes packed with speakers to make sure you hear all the action without any distractions and it can be tuned to fit in perfectly with you living room.

It's usually priced at £279 but that's been dropped to £212 for Prime Day.

The only thing to be aware of is that these discounts are exclusive for Prime members as part of Prime Day - that's a subscription plan that costs £8.99 per month. Luckily, that price can be avoided by signing up and getting one month for free.

"We're giving you 30 days of Prime for £8.99 FREE. Unlimited delivery, award-winning TV shows, exclusive deals, and more," Amazon explained on its sign-up page.

If that sounds enticing you can join Prime here - just remember, if you forget to cancel you will be charged £8.99 per month once the freebie ends.
