How to buy tickets to Andrea and Matteo Bocelli at BST Hyde Park | Music | Entertainment

Andrea Bocelli is hitting BST Hyde Park this year on July 5, 2024.

This is the first time a classical artist has joined the line-up of the annual music event, making this a truly historic moment for both Bocelli and the BST event.

This event is even more of a milestone for the artist, who is best known for such tracks as Fall On Me, Cantico, Because We Believe and Voglio restare così, as it will be a 2024 UK exclusive performance.

Even more exciting news is that the star's support acts for the day have just been announced.

He'll not only be joined by his son, Matteo Bocelli, but also the Welsh Mezzo Soprano: Katharine Jenkins OBE.

As if that wasn't enough, Andrea's BST Hyde Park performance marks 30 years of his career. The star is the most successful classical artist of all time, having performed for popes, presidents, prime ministers and royalty. Along the way, he's sold more than 90 million records, and received countless awards, including a Golden Globe, seven BRITs and seven World Music Awards.

Bocelli himself said: "In and of itself, it should be a private celebration: a career spanning 30 years, 30 years – a lifetime! – spent on stages around the world, striving to brush with beauty and offer my voice to those who wish to hear it, as part of the soundtrack of their lives. I am delighted to see how today this anniversary has become a celebration for many: a collective way to celebrate three decades of music and excitement, of memories and feelings, that can bloom to life to the notes of a score each time."

Bocelli said of BST: "Hyde Park is the perfect place for coming together to celebrate my 30th anniversary and reimagine it as a springboard propelling us into the future, imbued with positivity and the power of good.

"Celebrating it here is sure to be unforgettable, in the vast green lung from which London has been drawing breath for hundreds of years, in this park that is the embodiment of a glorious chapter in the history of a nation, of a continent, of a civilisation… and also of so much wonderful music that has rung out here, nourishing it in its wake.”
