Make your orchid bloom ‘two times faster’ with free and quick tip

When it comes to plants flowering, it’s understandable to be a bit impatient as we want to take in the beauty of our blossoms. Well, there seems to be a way to get orchids to bloom quickly for free, and it will only take you a few seconds.

Taking to her TikTok account dedicated to “inspiring others to grow and care for orchids,” Orchid With Love, a content creator shared how you can speed up the process of your orchids flowering.

In a video, she said: “I’ve done the experiment so you don’t have to.

“Want to make your orchid bloom two times faster? Here’s the secret.

“I had two orchids that finished blooming at the same time. For the first one, I cut off the spike completely.

“Mine rebloomed on the old stem. I never cut it off,” one person said.

Another said: “Mine rebloomed after four months and I did not cut off the spike completely.”

Someone else added in: “[Mine] always rebloom a few times on the old stem. It's a lot easier on the plant as well. I have 30 orchids and can say both ways will bloom but keeping the old spike is faster.”

And an additional user said: “I cut mine off and have yet to get a new spike.”
