Serial slingshot shooter, 81, arrested 'after decade of terror in US' | US | NewsAn 81-year-old "serial slingshot shooter" has been caught after a decade terrorising a community in the US, police say. Prince Raymond King is accused of using ball bearings to smash windows and car windscreens in Southern California. Investigators say he narrowly avoided members of the public during the spree in Azusa, a city about 25 miles (40 km) east of Los Angeles. Azusa police Lt. Jake Bushey said Saturday that detectives learned that most of the ball bearings were shot from the suspect's backyard. He said the suspected motive at this stage is "malicious mischief". King was arrested on Thursday after officers served a search warrant and allegedly found a slingshot and ball bearings at his home. Azusa is located in the San Gabriel Valley region of Los Angeles County and has a population of around 50,000. He is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow. Source link Posted: 2024-05-28 07:19:50 |
