Meghan Markle warned of 'outcomes' if she outshines Harry | Royal | News

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle presented a solid front during their high-profile visit to Nigeria this month, but it didn't stop whispers about the Duke of Sussex appearing "worried" as his star wife "outshone" him.

The trip marked the duo's first official international engagement since their dramatic exit from royal duties four years prior, hot on the heels of Harry's solo return to the UK for the anniversary of his Invictus Games.

Dr Sona Kapur, a clinical psychologist and founder of Serenity Psychological Services, noted that there are typically two possible scenarios when one partner eclipses the other in terms of fame.

If Harry contentedly plays second fiddle to Meghan's limelight, it is indicative of "strong self-assurance and mutual support", she told OK! Magazine.

However, if this dynamic isn't managed adeptly, she explained, it could induce feelings of insufficiency or bitterness.

Dr Kapur argued that the key to successfully navigating such a situation lies in open dialogue, reciprocal encouragement, and ensuring both individuals have chances to pursue their passions and excel.
