Subscribing to Amazon Prime comes with lots of additional benefits that you may not know about, including a ton of free video games and in-game items. Amazon gives away around half a dozen free games to subscribers every month, not to mention content for titles like EA Sports FC, Pokemon Go, Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4. May is shaping up to be a particularly good month for free game giveaways, especially for fans of Bethesda and Amazon's new Fallout TV show. Indeed, if you've been enjoying the show and want to see where it all began, then Amazon is giving Prime customers the chance to download Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition for free later this month. Often considered to be the best Fallout game in the entire series, Fallout 3 is set in a post-apocalyptic Washington DC and surrounding areas.

The game has a massive 93% score on Metacritic, with reviewers praising both the story and sense of freedom.

The Game of the Year Edition contains the core game, plus all downloadable content, including Operation Anchorage; The Pitt; Broken Steel; Point Lookout; and Mothership Zeta.

Amazon Prime subscribers can download Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition for free from May 9. Just visit the Prime Gaming page on Amazon, where you'll receive a GOG code for the PC version.

In addition to Fallout 3, Amazon Prime customers can also grab free copies of games such as Tomb Raider: Game of the Year Edition and LEGO Star Wars 2: The Clone Wars.

Available now, Tomb Raider Game of the Year Edition contains the critically-acclaimed action game, plus add-on content.
